On Saturday, September 29, Petland Pembroke Pines walked alongside people with autism, their families and friends at the Autism Speaks Walk in Sunrise, FL.

Many gathered at the event to support their loved ones and the overall mission of Autism Speaks to better the lives of people with autism. This includes raising donation funds for the organization’s continuing research for the causes of autism, gaining better access to information and resources, and finding a voice with local legislators.

Autism Speaks also works to increase the understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism so that they can live normal and fulfilling lives. Petland Pembroke Pines helped fundraise to support Autism Speaks’ mission.

Seeing the love and support from people with autism and their loved ones has made this year’s walk a very successful one! Petland Pembroke Pines is eager to make the walk again next year and continue supporting Autism Speaks.
